Linear phase mode is not commonly used in most mixing environments, as the nature of this mode can introduce a lot of latency. This means it delivers the most accurate frequency response and best sound quality, even at the lowest frequencies and highest bandwidth settings, without introducing noticeable pre-ring or long latency!
